この作品はとてもポップにできているのに、その作品世界はどこか神秘性に満ちている。
それは、須山真怜さんが、作曲家である以上に作家であろうとしているからだと思います。
そして、日本の音楽に足りないのはまさにこの作家性なのではないかと、思うのです。

NGATARIの音楽を初めて耳にしたとき、透明な好い心持ちがした。
ある日の午後に再び聴いてみると、 軽やかに大胆に誰かの気色を感じた。
絵を描く途中に手を休めて聴いたとき、 少しだけ向きを変えて、 何かをそっと傾けてみたくなった。
秋山花（イラストレーター）音楽を聴いていて、いても立ってもいられなくなるのは、ぼくだけだろうか？ブローティガンの『芝生の復讐』にあったように、やがて、すべての歌にとりかえしのつかない終末がおとずれやしないか？って。地平線のむこうからやってくる雨のように、流れに身をひるがえす鱒のように、もちろん恋人たちのまなざしのように、いったん生まれてしまったものは、立ち止まるということがない。そんなわけで、不意にあらわれた一枚のCDを聴きおわったときに、ぼくはすっかり疲れて憔悴しきっていた。もっとも、みちたりたように微笑んでいたのだけれど。
佐伯誠（文筆家）"Nebular for Thirteen"を聴いた。耳を澄ますと、静寂とさまざまな音とがシンクロナイズしているのが聴こえた。
そしてそこに一筋の芳香が立ち昇るかのように艶やかな声が鳴り響く。
僕はいつの間にか時間と空間のノマドとなり、じんわりと「音楽って美しい」という事を思いだした。
